This policy covers the HourEntry iPhone app and this website. Work records belong to you. Here is what is stored, who handles it and what you control.
Your work records
HourEntry stores your work entries, monthly targets and notes on your device. When you use iCloud, these records sync through your Apple Account’s private iCloud database. The developer does not receive these records on their own server and cannot access your private iCloud database.
No ads or third-party analytics
The app does not include advertising or third-party analytics. We do not collect work records for marketing, profiling or advertising.
Purchases
Apple processes Pro purchases through the App Store. HourEntry checks purchase entitlement to enable Pro and restore purchases. We do not receive your payment card details. Apple handles its own account, payment and purchase data under its privacy policy.
Exports and your optional name
When you export a PDF or CSV, the file contains the work records and notes included in that report. If you choose to include a name, it is included in the exported report. You choose where to save or send a file; its recipients can read its contents. Exports are not automatically sent to the developer.
This website
This website uses no tracking cookies, analytics scripts or advertising trackers. The hosting service may process ordinary request logs, including your IP address, the requested path and request time, to serve and operate the site. There are no sign-up forms or mailing-list trackers.
If you pause the visual motion, the website saves that preference in your browser’s local storage. It stays on your device and is not sent to us. Clearing website data removes it.
Support email
If you email info@codeliner.ee, we receive your email address and the information you send. We handle these messages manually to answer your request. Share only the information needed to explain your question. Contact us if you want us to delete your support correspondence, subject to any applicable record-keeping obligations.
Your control and deletion
You can edit and delete work entries in the app. Deleting an entry also syncs through iCloud when enabled. Before deleting the app, check that your records have synced or export a copy with Pro. Deleting the app alone does not necessarily remove records stored in iCloud; manage iCloud app data through your Apple settings. We cannot recover, modify or delete your private iCloud records on your behalf.
